This was a fluke purchase but I was attracted to the cover and love animals so I bought it. What a pleasant surprise to not go with one’s usual genre and find that the old adage holds true no matter what, an entertaining story—a good story—is a good story no matter the genre. The story centers around Tabitha and her BFF Lizzy. Reminiscent of Alice in Wonderland going down the rabbit hole, the story starts with a mysterious visitor and major life changes (from rags to riches). There is so much in these pages that are enticing and enjoyable: a legacy, cats and their antics, sexual tension, passion, impending doom, and much more. It all works under the umbrella of a tightly-written and action-packed with well described scenes. This is one of those book where the cover serves its insides. All well done.

My Cat is the Antichrist by JB Trepagnier is a story of Tabitha and her best friend Lizzy. The story starts with Tabitha opening a door to a complete stranger. Tabitha’s life changes overnight as soon as she flies from her dingy apartment in Kentucky to the manor of Salem.
The story revolves around Tabitha and the legacy she has inherited from her parents. There’s one more interesting aspect to all that’s happening and that is the presence of a weird-looking cat Drake. Drake is skinless and has ears of a bat. Much to the surprise, Drake was also Tabitha’s younger brother’s name who went missing just when Tabitha was dumped to a foster home in Kentucky.
One more thing that goes parallel with the main story is the sizzling chemistry that Tabitha shared with all the four horsemen. There’s a conflict as Tabitha had to restrain herself especially when the apocalypse is in the offing. It’s a reverse harem, so of course you will find some hot and steamy passion in this book.
Why Tabitha was there in the manor, who’s Drake, the cat, and the fate of Tabitha and the four horsemen. The answers to all these questions were hidden there in the pages.
This is a quite an imaginary book with well written prose and an intriguing storyline. Plot is unique and fresh and that’s the USP of the book. However, at times the information gets too heavy on the reader especially if they don’t know much about the apocalypse in the setting, breaking of the seals, horsemen, folklore, legends, and myths. That said, it was an outstanding attempt at writing a Reverse Harem romance against the backdrop of a pre-apocalyptic gothic setting.
I love the cover of this book! It’s one of my favorite I’ve seen in awhile. It definitely draws you in and makes you want to read it, which makes me add the final point to the rating.

Two besties live together and try to make ends meet by bartending, but that all changes when a relative shows up and proclaims one of them to be a long-lost family member. All seems great, if a little hard for them to believe, until the cat turns out to be more than a cat, and the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse show up. Then all hell breaks loose.

There is some conflict, for me, between the storyline and the sex scenes, because the characters keep getting carried away with passions and have a hard time getting their investigations done. When the conflict resolves, it seemed a bit too easily accomplished, I’d have perhaps like to have seen that play out a little more in-depth. The book is a solid choice for those who love to combine the paranormal with bedroom play. Enjoy!
Just from the name of the book, I didn't quite know what to expect. But as I read about Drake, the hairless creeper cat and Antichrist, I found myself saying "oh no" many times and a few laughs moments.

Tabby, a small town Kentucky girl, inherits a thirty bedroom manor and soon discovers there are a few secrets hiding within the walls. Or should I say rooms? Then we have the four sexy horsemen, and you can imagine what kind of entertainment Tabby and the four fellas get into.

This book is sexy, entertaining, dark at times, and just down right good. I surly don't regret the purchase.
This was an entertaining read. A little romance, a lot of hot sex and a fun twist on a religious theme.

When I first saw the title I immediately thought, no, my cat is the antichrist (my neighbours have the scratches to prove it). How wrong I was. I never realised the title was meant literally.

After growing up in foster care, Tabitha enters a world of secret rooms, a bald, sweater wearing cat, and a family she never knew she had. And just when she thinks she’s adjusting four gorgeous men in the form of the horsemen of apocalypse turn up.

The book is told from Tabitha’s point of view and I loved her kick-ass way of looking at life. A page turner right to the end.
