These are stories that all age groups can get into and can share with their families. It's a nice mix of rom com, thriller, sci-fi and childhood fables with twists you may not see coming at the end. I loved this collection of short stories. They are exciting, thought provoking, adventurous, and even heart warming. There is something here for everyone. I personally loved the Transfer and Lumasi, but they all were a great read. I liked the strong women characters that range from the challenged to the redeemed. It was hard to put the book down, as I couldn't wait to see where the next story would take me.
These stories are thoughtful, leisurely paced, and graced with humor. Allow these short stories to take you away. I highly recommend it!
Variety...not the same story told over and over. This author takes you on a variety of journeys and provides the reader with the opportunity to explore many different types of female characters and circumstances that allow their strength to be revealed.

This book has a variety of short stories - some sad and some very touching. I enjoyed the book. The author is a very good short story writer in the traditional sense. His stories have a great opening paragraph that brings the reader into the story. The story is filled with action sentences vivid adjectives describing emotions and colorful scenes. It is easy to see how this author also writes screen plays.
I have enjoyed reading these short stories. It's interesting and laudable to read stories that place strong women in a positive manner by a male writer. In fact, the narrative perspective is also from male characters who observe and value the strength of the women they meet, confront, and love. The stories are interesting and varied in style, length, and substance. A nice collection.
